I've been writing backend systems for about eight years. Started with PHP and Django on small projects, gradually moved to highload — currently working in fintech where Python and Go handle millions of transactions a day.

This blog is where I dump notes from production. Tired of Googling the same things twice, so I started writing for myself — maybe someone else finds it useful too.

Main interests: Linux internals, PostgreSQL, Go concurrency, network programming. Occasionally into security — CTF and reading CVE write-ups as a hobby. Moved from Moscow to Amsterdam a couple of years ago; the infrastructure culture here is different in interesting ways.

Previously worked at two startups and one enterprise. Enterprise wasn't for me. The current place works well.
